Rio Ave Football Club celebrates its 87th anniversary on May 10th. Founded in 1939, the club is a symbol of glory and resilience, maintaining a strong connection with the city of Vila do Conde. To mark this special date, Rio Ave has prepared a week full of events that will take place from May 1st to 10th. The program includes activities for all fans and supporters of the club. On May 1st, there will be a Green and White Walk, followed by a gathering at the club's headquarters. On May 2nd, the highlight will be the “Os Tubas” Football Tournament, which will take place at the Rio Ave Academy. On May 3rd, during the halftime of the match against Gil Vicente FC, the club will pay tribute to the Invincible Champions of the 85/86 season. On May 8th, a Commemorative Dinner will bring together past and present members of the Rio Ave family. On May 9th, the club will hold visits to the cemeteries of Vila do Conde and Caxinas to remember those who were part of the club's history. Finally, on May 10th, Anniversary Day, there will be a flag-raising ceremony and the presentation of gold and silver badges at the club's headquarters, celebrating the rich history of Rio Ave Football Club.
